Cognitive-behavior therapy

Cognitive-behavior therapy focuses on identifying and changing destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotion.  Somatic theories teach us that emotions are body-based and if we think a negative thought, our body feels it.  Mind-body integration is built into my work.  Replacing destructive or negative cognitions with affirming beliefs and feeling states is key.
