Somatic experiencing therapy
Somatic experiencing® (SE) therapy is a way of working that focuses on the autonomic nervous system and understanding the body’s threat response system. It is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. We have a growing understanding of how our bodies process and store difficult or overwhelming emotions; this training has deepened my skill set in working with trauma. Regardless of what brings one to therapy, I aim to achieve enhanced mind-body integration.
